Each summer, orientation for most of our summer students is held at the Grand Hall, which primarily serves as a teaching venue for centrally-timetabled lectures at the University.
This year, orientation will also take place at Loke Yew Hall in the Main Building. Completed in 1912, the Main Building is the oldest building at HKU, and Loke Yew Hall has long served as an important venue for academic and social events at the University.
This year, we organised over 50 summer programmes. Let’s revisit and celebrate the precious and memorable moments we shared!
The culture and tradition of High Table Dinner is adopted from the Oxbridge universities in Britain. Apart from dining in an elegant setting, guests are invited to present a talk so as to broaden students’ horizons and inspire their thinking. It is a great opportunity for you to engage in lively discussions with others while enjoying dishes prepared by our college.
Join us for the inaugural Summer Festival for all summer students! Enjoy a fun-filled party with treats and entertainment!
